Wandering hour complications are one of the most intriguing displays in watchmaking, and now Xeric is bringing it to your wrist with the Vendetta Automatic. They spent the past three years developing this unique three-armed wandering hour timepiece at an attainable price.
They created their own custom movement based on the top of the line Miyota 9-series, putting the nearly unattainable wandering hour timepiece within the grasp of most watch enthusiasts. Limited to 100 pieces per color.
The Vendetta is surprisingly easy to read. The time is read at the bottom of the watch where the hour glides along from right to left, pointing to the minutes. The cycle repeats as the next hour comes into view at the beginning of the minute track while up above the Geneva gear mechanism shifts the hours to their next place in the sequence.
They also introduced the world’s first modular minute track system. Two alternate minute dials are hidden underneath the tinted crystal and can be brought into view by rotating the secondary crown. These additional displays have different minute layouts and colors, so you can customize the look of your watch at any time, essentially giving you three different styles in one watch.
